  • Hi Emily, Great idea! We sell a range of gardening items, including quality tools and lightweight planter bags /boxes that could be easy to get up onto a roof, check out www.gubba.co.nz for info. Give me a call on 09 915 9250, I'm sure we can hook you up somehow. Cheers, Tim

  • Well done girl, looking out over some green spaces rather than metal, iron, concrete roofs etc would be a welcome sight to most not to mention what benefits it would bring to our enviorment. I would love to help with some drainage and irrigation designs and suggest (if you haven't already) check out www.livingroofs.org.nz - Nick Simmons 021 732 178

  • Banish unsightly rooftop wastelands. Turn them into a productive and enjoyable paradise. Love your idea Emily. It is a great thing to look down from the tallest building in a city and seeing the rooftops below awash with green and there aren't enough cities in the world where this happens.

  • That master gardener course sounds interesting. Where could I find more about it?
