We are making handmade puddings for New Zealanders to enjoy with friends and family - Julia Crownshaw

Overview

Myself and a good buddy of mine (Christie McCarthy) have just started a business making handmade puddings. It's called Dollop Puddings. We want to get New Zealanders back into enjoying proper puddings, the kind that would have come from every good 1970's housewives kitchen. You see, puddings are not just the naughty sweet treat after you've had your greens, they are about spending time with friends and family around the dining room table, bantering over the philosophies of life, debating the merits of vegemite vs marmite (come on, you've all done it!), laughing until it almost hurts and embracing the odd spoon war. Quite simply, we think we should all have more of these good times in our lives, and we think our puddings can help.

I need

  • A special kind of pot to make more of our special Vanilla Bean Custard. We're finding it hard to keep up!
  • PR coverage in food & lifestyle magazines to spread the word of our delicious puddings
  • And, like all small businesses, some cold hard cash wouldn't hurt

  • I can absolutely confirm that these are very Yum puds, get into them. By the way it's vegemite hands down.
