Overview

I have begun the long process of launching my business - Tenax Papers. I want to share my passion for handmade paper with people. I handmake papers from harakeke (NZ flax) and also produce boutique and custom handmade papers.

My business is to share and educate people about paper, handmake and sell paper and to reduce the environmental footprint as much as possible.


I need

  • I need people to be more aware that they can buy unique papers handmade in New Zealand
  • I also have some equipment purchases, one of which is a working Victorian-era chaff cutter, one of the few devices that can cleanly cut through raw flax
  • A more weatherproof facility to store equipment, manufacture paper and run workshops in
