I want to start my own bespoke furniture design workshop/studio to create one-off hand-made masterpieces out of wood. I am now studying at the Centre for Fine Woodworking in Nelson, after just graduating from a design degree from Unitec School of Design where I majored in 3D object design. I want to start a workshop that is not focused on mass production of furniture but objects that are made in very small runes, to a very high quality. Furniture that will last more than one lifetime. My aim is to make new and contemporary furniture that is well crafted and will excite and be enjoyed by its user in every day life.
