Overview

Having launched Squashedgrape here and then in Australia and having trademarked the brand on a non existent budget and funding, I plan to launch a franchised chain of Squashedgrape New Zealand wine shops accross China. We have our first store and area under planning and cant wait to take New Zealand's Pure wines and other Pure beverage product into that market not just via export but through our stores


I need

  • Financial help in the initial setup would be the greatest assistance I could ask for. I have been taking advice from key Chinese business people here on their experience there, have so many NZ wineries on board and taking their advice, but its that first shipment of stock and core fit outs that will be toughest to get started.  I know this can and will work and we will be launching the 3rd SQ website, SQ China as soon as we have the retail operation underway.
  • We have assessed the best cities to launch into, the optimum size stores, costs of fitout, and stock holding and drawing on both my experience here, overseas and that of my business partner - however , all the advice we could get from Mentors would be as valuable to us as financial support which is key
